Rated 5 out of 5 by GG from Great Replacement Kit This kit is a direct replacement for the original cushions. I foolishly bought a cheaper non Bose set which while OK were no where near as good as these and they did not cancel sound to the same effect as the Bose ones. If you need a replacement set, don't waste your money on cheaper sets. By these ones and you won't regret having to pay a bit more.

After years of outstanding service and surviving regular abuse, I finally decided to change the ear pads on my Bose QC-15 headphones…but was worried I may lose the comfort factor I have enjoyed from day-one. I have several headphones, but my Bose are the only cans I can wear for hours on end and only be aware of the music they produce not the speakers themselves. I could have got cheaper replacements at other retailers, but so glad I purchased from Bose. The replacement pads I received are exact replicas of my original ear pads…and after wearing them for a few days, the comfort level from day-one has been exactly the same…so glad I didn’t penny-pinch…clearly you get what you pay for! I use my cans on an almost daily basis, and would have been really disappointed if I had lost the comfort quality these ear pads provide. NB they do come with fitting instructions, but I checked a couple of vids on Youtube which helped to identify that there are 8 small clips that attach the ear pads. The clips are positioned at 12, 3, 6, and 9 (like a clock/watch) and another 4 clips at roughly 7, 23, 37, and 53. I attached 12, 6, 3, then 9. And then 7, 23, 37, and 53 positions…it is important to check that each of these is securely connected to achieve best audio quality and noise cancelling…having checked out a couple of ‘how-to’ vids, and familiarising myself with the position of the 8 pins, I have to say, I found it really simple to attach them…and the quality of the Bose ear pads become very evident at this point. The service from Bose is like their speakers…awesome!...super fast delivery, with notifications of day and time slots. If you take your headphones seriously like I do, I have no hesitation in recommending these replacement ear pad…you won’t regret it!
